The BRU team have spent a lot of time evaluating many concepts to finalise the design, been through numerous protoypes and done a lot of component testing to make sure we picked the best possible and most durable parts to go inside.

The outer body panels are injection moulded. The tank is made of laboratory-quality borosilicate glass (just like Pyrex) and the attached outlet is made of food-grade silicone. The BRU machine is covered by robust technology patents which cover our unique pinch valve technology inspired from the biotech industry. This technique is crucial and simplifies the tea brewing process and cleaning function of our tea brewing machine.

The founders of BRU love tea and had been searching for an easier way of making the perfect cup every time, with no mess, no fuss. Their solution provides something unique and game-changing to tea brewing. We have worked closely with very experienced industrial designers and an engineering company which specializes in consumer products to take the idea of our tea making device and turn it into a reality.
