Hi, we're Filip and Bogdan! Together we founded BRU 3 years ago. As the Zurich StartUp, we are pursuing the goal of simplifying local tea preparation for every tea lover.
The result is the BRU Maker OneFrom our passion for healthy and delicious tea. When looking for a tea machine that really works, we unfortunately did not find anything. That is why we decided to take it into our own hands and develop a product that now inspires both tea newbies and tea experts.

Product and application
Can I test the device before buying?
Yes, we offer a test phase of 30 days, during which you can test the device at home without obligation.
If you find out during this time that the device does not meet your expectations or you do not like it, you can return it to us. The following conditions apply to a return during the trial period:
- The device must be in perfect condition
- All supplied accessories must be complete and undamaged
- The original packaging must be available
- The shipping costs for the return must be borne by you.

What amount of tea can I prepare?
You can prepare different amounts of tea in your BRU Maker One.
The smallest amount of tea that can be prepared is 50 ml and can be increased in increments of 50 ml. The maximum amount of tea you can prepare directly is 350 ml.
You can also make larger amounts of tea by using the multi-brew mode. With this mode you have the opportunity to prepare up to 1.4 liters of tea. Before serving, the tea is made in several infusions

What temperature parameters can I set?
You can adjust the temperature parameters in your device according to your needs and the type of tea. Settings range from room temperature (unheated water) to boiling water. The temperature steps are 5 °C. You can set the desired temperature in 5 °C steps from 40 °C to boiling point.
In summary: From room temperature (unheated), then 40 °C, 45 °C, …. 95 °C and 100 °C
What brewing time can I set?
You can use different time settings in your BRU Maker One. The shortest adjustable time is 10 seconds, and you can increase it in increments from 10 seconds to 10 minutes. From 10 minutes, you can increase the time in 1-minute increments to a maximum setting of 60 minutes.
Which water filter should I use?
We recommend that you only use the original BRU filters.

Is the BRU Maker a replacement for my kettle?
And, absolutely! With the BRU Maker, you can also easily remove hot or filtered water at the push of a button. You can pre-define the amount of water, or manually start and stop the process again. You can take up to 3L of hot water from the machine at the push of a button.
